HAWA organisation was formed on the 26th of November 2013, after we as founders had a vision of how to improve our standard of living holistically.
Our main goal is to both promote and provide healthcare to those affect by HIV/Aids and to raise awareness in our community
Background
HAWA is located in Mafutu Village, Bukhumwa Parish, Bumbobi Sub-county, Mbale, Uganda.
Recently, rapid spreading of HIV and AIDS has lead to an increasing number of orphans in the area. HAWA was founded with the primary aim of combatting this. We provide education to the local community about how we can protect ourselves from this lethal infection, and reduce its transmission.
